"Who Is My Neighbor", was placed back on the drawing board after 911 and completed before the events unfolding in the Middle East in July 2006. In 1988, six of our church members along with myself were called to a mission in Israel: That mission was to cross four borders, claiming this land that was part of God's promise to Israel. In crossing the borders, we crossed with the promise that God gave to Moses and Joshua in Joshua 1:3. We crossed the borders of Gaza, Golen Heights, Syria, and Lebanon. The trip was very interesting and daring.

This month God spoke to me from Psalm 102:13-17. But before this happened, about two years ago He reminded me of our trip and let me know that Israel's borders would only be extended through conflict; that Israel would be attacked and in self-defense, the battle would favor Israel.
When the Holy Spirit spoke to me this is what He said, "The set time to favor Israel is NOW." In finding the scripture in the Bible, I realized the the purpose for what is happening now is that Psalm 102:15 , "So the nations shall fear the name of the Lord, And all the kings of the earth Your glory", would come to pass.
"Who Is My Neighbor" has examples of past Bible conflicts and how it was important in the conflict for innocent people to be treated fairly, and if they were not, God brought judgment on nations and peoples. This same principle still holds true today - God has not changed.
My concern is for Israel, the Muslims, and the Christians. How are we going to treat one another? And are we going to be able to separate the wicked from the innocent? I feel "Who Is My Neighbor" will give us insight and prepare us to walk through this slippery slope we live in, and be able to be a good neighbor to the innocent, and separate them from the wicked.
This book will also help us to pray for Israel, that they not fail to do what is right in the heat of the battle. If Israel fails so do we, because the church is part of being a witness and testimony to the nations and kings. Israel is our open door as we walk sensitive to our part at this time, standing and praying for Israel and the Jewish people, not neglecting to be sensitive to the innocent Muslim people. Remember Isaac and Ishmael were half-brothers. "Who Is My Neighbor" also talks about this and our part as Christians.
I encourage you to get a copy of "Who Is My Neighbor" - it is important information and relevant to the NOW of God.
This book also focuses on the greatest commandment, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself." On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”" (Matthew 22:37-40). It is important that we have insight so that we are able to live this commandment. "Who Is My Neighbor" helps us to understand and to do this.
