Jesus healed people who would come to Him expecting and believing that what they had heard and seen Him do for others could also happen for them.
Healing is not a mystery or difficult to receive. The extent of your sickness or the miracle you need does not constitute a problem for our Master. Often we have spent too much time letting our aliments wear us down. If our sickness involves pain, medication, it affects our daily life, the doctor's have given us a report that is not good, we can become hopeless. But let me encourage you - always - today and forever, if our hope is in the Lord, we will see His glory.
I have personally received many healings in my journey as a Christian. When I was around two years old, I contracted pneumonia; the doctor said there was no hope for me and that I would not live until morning. My Mom just kneeled by my bedside and kept praying. By morning, the fever had broken, I began to get better, and I lived to tell the story. This was my first miracle of healing through prayer. Today, I continue to walk in Divine Health - which is a daily believing. He is my Healer. Jesus has been faithful to heal and will continue to be faithful.
Our salvation and our healing were paid for at the cross. He took our infirmities - that means our sin and our sickness.
Come to our meetings and find out what the Lord will do for you. He loves you and, ultimately, His goal is that you would be well.
He has used His Presence and the revelation of scripture to bring healing to me. I remember the last big healing I received was the illumination of the scripture "Calling those things that are not as though they are" (Romans 4:17). I was doing meetings in Elkford, B.C. and no one knew how tired and weak on the inside I felt, this had been going on for a few years. I was believing God for a healing and not believing the lies that wanted to wear me down. While preparing for the evening meeting, I picked up a Christian magazine that was in my room from a well-known Evangelist. He was describing his problem and how while he was preaching a meeting about healing God spoke to him and said you are telling the people all of this but you do not believe it yourself. Then the Holy Spirit said to him, "Why don't you call those things that are not as though they are"? He did, and he was healed. I immediately personalized what he was saying and did the same. Can you believe? - I was immediately healed!
There are times it is more difficult to receive and other times it seems to just happen suddenly. Why? Because there are times we are more open and sensitive to the Holy Spirit, but in some instances, God has had to take us on a journey to help us to embrace what has transpired at the cross.
Be ready to receive, be open and sensitive, and watch what God will do for you. I guarantee His Presence is in the meeting to meet your needs.
