INVENTIONS, CURES, & REVELATIONS
God wants to draw us in closer to Him, in a new place where we have not been, to show us things we have not yet seen, to reveal to us things that are hidden. God wants to reveal things that have not yet been revealed to mankind - but we are not drawing close to Him in a place where He can reveal them to us.
We have stopped being curious about God, curious about His ways. We have stopped being curious about what God wants to do; stopped being curious about what He wants to reveal to mankind through us. We have stopped pursuing God. Much like in our peer relationships, we do all kinds of things to pursue a spouse, but once we have them, we stop there, we give up doing the things to get their attention - we stop pursuing. We have often pursued God more when we were sinners and now that we have Him, we have stopped pursuing Him; we have stopped showing interest in Him.
We are breaking God’s heart. Not because of sin, but because we are indifferent to Him now. We don’t believe Him for our bread today – how can we believe Him for the things yet untold? How can we believe Him for cures? For revelation? For new inventions?
Imagine Edison, having over one hundred inventions, and yet becoming known for one of them, the light bulb – something never before invented! Imagine the bicycle repair technicians – the Wright brothers – with no airplane ever invented, wanting to fly like a bird in the sky, and didn’t stop until their dream was accomplished. Imagine life without the inventions of the telephone or electricity.
Today, our technology is changing approximately every three months, yet there are inventions untold that God wants to download into His people… Can we not believe that He would even want to reveal JUST ONE of those inventions to us? Do we not really believe that He has NEW things to do through us?
God wants to release the things in the hidden places, the secret places, to us, His children, for His glory. It is not that He doesn’t want to; it is that we are hindering Him from being able to reveal it to us. You see, if we just want a little of God, all He can give us is a little (because that is all we can handle); if all we want is much, then He can give much; BUT if we can come to the place of wanting / needing all of Him, then He will give us All of Him!
It breaks God’s heart to not be able to reveal all the treasures in the Hidden Places that He has for us.
There are cures for illness and diseases – the cure that brings TOTAL HEALING, the cure that means there is NO TRACE of the sickness, NO EVIDENCE of it in the body, NO MEDICATION to take for the rest of your life – TOTAL HEALING. There is a cure for Parkinson’s. There is a cure for Alzheimer’s. There is a cure for cancer. There are cures and inventions untold that God so wants to reveal to us, to bless man with. Can you trust Him for just One? Can you believe that He wants to reveal just (at least) one invention to you that is yet unheard of? Can you believe He wants to do one new thing through you? Can you believe that He wants to reveal just one nugget of His Word to you in a way that has never before been understood? Can you believe Him for just one? Can you believe Him to do it through you?
God wants you and I to align ourselves with Him, removing all unnecessary clutter that would hinder us from drawing close to Him. He wants us to not just settle anymore for the same-old, same-old; but to open ourselves up to believing for the new things; to believe and to receive the wonderful, the miraculous, the unheard of. God has revelation just for His children that He desires to pour into; things that will astound this world; things that will show God’s goodness, God’s love to mankind.
